This robot does so well in my pool and I've got a 25,000 gallon pool it's got a deep end that is 9 ft deep in this robot will go up into the grotto and clean.. it is a fantastic robot and I hate to say it but my pool guy will have to find a new job

I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I figure I'm like most - I researched every pool robot within my budget. Would be nice if we can all afford the $$$$ pool cleaner with the solar panel, sonors, and all other bells and whistles, but that wasn't for me. I was looking for a good, reliable robot pool cleaner that fit within my budget. I leaned into the Hydro 3 because of Poolmates excellent customer service. They were quick to respond for several of my inquiries and questions and issues that maybe I had. That alone gave me assurances that I wasn't going to end up with a paper weight that eventually became landfill. The Hydrow isn't perfect. But if you read all the millions of pool robot vacuums out there, even the most pricey ones, none are! So with that in mind I was looking to invest in a bot so I can cancel my current poolman's service. And have something that cleaned more often than just 10 minutes once a week. I purchased and a returned another pool vac that didn't fit my needs. And settled on the Hydro 3. And I couldn't be happier. Here's why: * The best thing about this unit is the battery life! It lasts almost 4 hours in my pool. It takes 4 hours to charge and low watts. It easily outlasts all the 1.5 hour pool robot vacuums out there! * It doesn't frustrate and look like it's aimlessly trying to figure out the difference between front to back. It alternates between spot cleaning, floor cleaning, wall cleaning, and water line scrubbing! * It has dual scrub brushes and dual intakes. And the filter box is quite robust and easy to clean. Most robot poop vacuums only have one scrub brush. That side usually powers the wall climb, so once at the waterline, nothing happens. This climbs and scrubs! * It's slated for 7 foot walls, but has managed to climb my 12 foot walls on occasion. I figured 80% of my walls was pretty good, but was super excited seeing it tackle my deep end without issue. * It's a beefy a size and not a hole you just toss money in. Unlike the previous unit, I couldn't see where my dollars were going to. It was a shell with a motor. Parts not worth the $$$ Again, it's not perfect. It has challenges with steps. It's meant for tall walls. And I don't see any sand the first bot was able to pickup. But it picks up a lot; I don't have to worry that something I saw on the pool floor bottom will still be there after the 4 hours. All that is acceptable. Using 3x a week, my pool is much much cleaner. Keeping my pool cleaner though summer then terminating services. The Hydro 3 is a trooper. And I'm happy with my investment.

It works great for my in-ground pool. Easy to clean. Very happy for replacing my old wired one. Highly recommended.

So far so good, it hasn't gotten stuck on a drain yet. Long run time. Not sure how often it cleans the walls but the rest of the pool is clean.
